Lemuria: There Be Giants

Free Dive

If it were not cold, would it be heaven?

Floating weightless and forever free.

Without the pressure would you feel leaden,

or would you succumb to the lure of the deep?

If you could breathe water, would you choose to,

or rather remain in slavery?

Down in the blue, it’s not what you’re used to,

You will not be rushed around like mindless sheep.

Instead, you will glide like a silent triton,

Master of all you touch, sense, or see.

You will dive, you will soar, you will siphon,

A then spray out the critters you choose to not keep.

Whales serenade you, in mystical tones.

Dolphins pitch in, a cacophony…

Yet it’s so much better than ringing phones.

It’s the magical world in your dreams when you sleep….

So, rush to the water, strip of your clothes,

Dance in the waves, of the gushing great sea.

Breathe in your last air and leap off your toes.

In through the veil of Neptune’s deep ocean keep.
